God is always first in our lives.

Blessed Tresses started in 2023 when the founder began to see her mothers' hair loss begin to become more prevalent and noticeable. Her mother had always had thick and lengthy hair, ever since she could remember.

Her mother was diagnosed with lupus and had seen her own mother and other family members deal with "generational" alopecia. With her now having locs down to her rear, the tension of each loc, the medicines affecting her hair retention and coming into agreement with having alopecia began to take a toll on her scalp and hair strands.

Now, the owner herself, always had a decent length of hair that was typically healthy. After 7 years of no maintenance & trims, chemical damage and no beneficial products applied to her hair, the ends started to split causing major breakage and stunted growth, with her hair never passing shoulder-length. She began to cry as the beauty she saw in herself, and her mother seemed to be diminishing. They tried many products and concoctions found online to no prevail.

Through this storm she reached out to God (YHWH) and asked him for guidance, knowledge and a recipe that would not only restore her and her mother's hair, but also her faith.

After reading, researching and conferring with the Holy Spirit, He provided the recipe. After making the first batch of hair oil, the Holy Spirit let her know she was missing an ingredient. He revealed Matthew 18:19 with her. She asked the Holy Spirit if she could pray over the oils. He advised her, THAT WAS THE MISSING INGREDIENT.

She told her mother what she had read and what the Holy Spirit had told her. Her mother, also a believer, understood. So, they prayed together and came in agreement that this oil would restore their hair.

After a month of using the oil, her mother began to see follicles and little sprouting hairs in the areas that were smooth to the touch beforehand. She became excited as she also saw her daughter's hair begin to go from lifeless to restored.

Her mother's hair still had too much tension for the strands that had thickened but could not withstand the heaviness. Her mother decided to start over and cut off her locs 4 months into using the oils. She was happy to have the weight lifted off of her and began to rejoice as her edges had been restored and the crown of her head had become fuller and had sprouted new hairs.

Now the owner, over those 4 months, had grown 8 inches of length. But she also had to take the leap of faith. She had to decide to let go of the dead ends of her hair, as she had not had a trim, but her hair was fuller and touching the middle of her back. She knew from her studying of the Holy Bible, Philippians 4:13 strength, would be what she needed to regrow anything that would be cut. 6 inches was cut from her hair, but she was not afraid.

The Holy Spirit worked diligently to show her a better recipe for regenerating the follicles and advised her on the best recipes for the products for Blessed Tresses (He also provided the name of the company).

Now Blessed Tresses is guided by YHWH to help all people who want to retain their length, regenerate follicle hair growth and maintain healthy hair with 100% organic and pure oils for the crowns of their heads.
